Simple Retrograde Kidney Stone
A flexible ureteroscope is used to access the kidney (retrograde). Using a 200 micron core fiber, laser energy (10 Hz, 1.0 J) is used to break up the stone. Once the stone is fragmented, a basket is used to retrieve the remaining particles. |
