This comprehensive 24 hour course is intended to give the medical director a complete review and understanding of the fundamentals associated with laser technology, treatments and responsibilities of a Medical Director. This course is designed to specifically meet or exceed the educational requirements outlined by the ARRA for Medical Director Training (24 Hour Didactic Course).

Laser Safety is the responsibility of everyone involved with the application of laser technology.  The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) recommends Annual basic laser safety training for all staff members associated with laser applications.  This Course meets the training requirement and provides time for Hands-on Laser Training to ensure all Laser Assistants / Users are comfortable with the day-to-day operation of the technology. 

This course is designed to provide students with detailed instruction regarding the development of a laser safety program in a healthcare environment.  Responsibilities of the Laser Safety Officer as defined by the ANSI Z136.3 are reviewed in detail.  This course is designed to specifically meet or exceed the educational requirements outlined by the ARRA for Medical Laser Safety Officer Training.

This course is designed to specifically meet or exceed the educational requirements outlined by the Arizona Radiation Regulatory Agency (ARRA) for Medical Assistants / Laser Technicians utilizing Laser and Light-Based technologies in Aesthetic Applications (40 Hour Laser Didactic Course).
