Treating large areas requires a scanner in order to ensure treatment accuracy and patient satisfaction. Fontona's S-11 scanner provides a world-leading 42 cm2 scan area. With an integrated cold air cooling attachment and adjustable handle, treatments are easier and less tiring to administer. Scanner functions, scan sizes and shapes are selected directly on the scanner via a joystick.

Enabling the use of a 9mm spotsize on the S-11 scanner, XP MAX provides the world's largest scanner spotsize. Larger spotsizes avoid laser energy scattering in the skin, which affects penetration. Larger scanner spotsizes allow deep structures to be treated with all the added advantages of a scanner.
